After 10 years developing “RidgeView” in the Hunter Valley, including the construction of 4 luxurious self-contained cottages and an award-winning infinity edge pool and tennis court together with the planting of 22 acres of vineyard to create trophy winning handcrafted wines, owners Darren and Tracey Scott have now brought their ultimate dream to reality with the opening of their state-of-the-art Cellar door and Restaurant
Matt and Nathan have developed a menu with a strong focus on the use of local produce. Eggs come from the estate’s free range chickens whilst vegetable and herb gardens on-site are sourced daily. Matt and Nathan have put together a range of menus to suit all tastes. Breakfast will have great pancakes and eggs benedict cooked to perfection. For lunch it’s beer battered snapper with rosemary salted hand cut chips and caper berry aioli, whilst for dinner we are doing some great classics along with modern Australian cuisine offering degustation dinners matched with RidgeView wine available Friday and Saturday night and all wine is available at ‘cellar door’ prices.
